QuiGuesser ("the App", "we", "us", "our") highly values the protection and privacy of our users' personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is processed, stored, and your rights when you download and use our Application.
1. Information We Collect and Collection Methods
QuiGuesser collects certain information to deliver core functionalities, execute multiplayer modes (Party Mode & 1v1 Duel Mode), and provide social features:
a. Identity and Profile Information
- Sign-In Methods: Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or Guest (Anonymous) Sign-In.
- Profile Data: Unique User ID (Firebase Auth UID), custom username, and chosen avatar emoji. When signing in via Google or Apple, your email address is processed securely for authentication purposes.
- Guest Accounts: Guests receive a randomly generated default username (e.g., Guest#ABC123) and an anonymous UID.
b. Gameplay Data and Statistics
- Games played, games won, total and category-based correct/incorrect answer statistics, accumulated scores, and rankings (stored in Cloud Firestore).
- Created or joined party room details, custom questions added to rooms, submitted answers, and guesses.
- Recent game history log covering the last 20 party games and last 20 duel matches.
c. Social Layer and Interaction Data
- Friends System: Friends list, incoming/outgoing friend requests, and friendship statuses.
- Duels and Invites: Live duel invitations and online presence indicators. When active on the home screen, your online status is communicated to your friends in real time (processed via Realtime Database).
d. Device, Technical, and Usage Data
- Device & Preferences: Device language, selected app language (Turkish/English), and theme mode (System/Light/Dark), stored locally on your device via GetStorage.
- Performance & Analytics: In-app interactions, session durations, screen navigations, and crash reports collected anonymously via Firebase Analytics.
- Ad Data: Device identifiers and ad interaction events processed through Google AdMob for showing and validating rewarded advertisements.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operating multiplayer game loops, matchmaking mechanisms, and real-time score calculations.
- Calculating, updating, and displaying profile statistics and leaderboards.
- Facilitating friend requests, online status monitoring, and direct duel invitations.
- Validating rewarded ad completions server-side via Cloud Functions.
- Optimizing application performance, fixing bugs, and enhancing user experience.

4. Data Storage, Security, and Account Deletion
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure in the European region (europe-west1). Data security is strictly managed via server-side database rules (Firestore & RTDB Rules) and Cloud Functions orchestration.
Account & Data Deletion Right: You can permanently delete your account at any time using the "Delete Account" button on the Profile screen. Upon deletion, your user profile, gameplay statistics, and Firebase Auth credentials are instantly and irreversibly deleted. Logging out of an anonymous account also permanently purges associated guest data.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or the legal age limit in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will immediately purge such data from our servers.
6. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, rectify, or request complete deletion of your data (available directly in-app).
